My name is Brenner, I'm mostly behind the scenes when it comes to Social Supply, and one of the curators for carrying out the Social Supply mission in the Video Production industry. Outside of Social Supply, I’m a Co-owner and Director for a video production company called 8 media group. Whenever we do productions, one of the platforms we use to hire talent is called Backstage.com. It’s a place where if you’re talent or crew, you can create an account and find production jobs. One thing I noticed whenever we do productions in the 757 and put out a casting call on Backstage, that there aren’t too many people from the 757. So what’s been happening is we’d have to supplement our casting call with talent coming from out of town, like Richmond area all the way up to NoVA and DC. That’s when you also see me posting casting calls on IG looking for cast and crew in the 757. It’s because, I don’t think too many people here know of Backstage.
So we reached out to our friends Backstage and mentioned what I noticed about the 757 area and also told them about our mission at Social Supply. They believed in the mission so much that they wanted to support our initiative to increase industry access in the 757.

Pro tips to get casted:
For models/actors: Please please, upload a professional headshot, you can upload photos of yourself in different looks but have a clean look as your main photo. Link or upload any previous work you've been casted on.
For crew: Having a reel is a huge plus, include a gear list and or what equipment you have experience with.
