WE AMPLIFY CREATIVE VOICES IN THE 757 THROUGH INCLUSIVE SOCIAL EXPERIENCES

HOW?

The times around the pandemic divided us more than ever. Social Supply was created to curate inclusive social experiences for people from all walks of life to feel welcome and come together for good vibes. It organically also became a magnet for the creative culture of music & entertainment, arts & design, photography & film, as well as hospitality. So we’re using the momentum to promote inclusivity and increase access and visibility of the creative industry in our hometown of Virginia Beach, VA, aka The 757.

OUR GOALS

There’s been a lot of talk around the lack of inclusivity and support in the creative industries in our area that have been recurring for too long. So we’re taking action in our own way, with what we have, along with partnerships that increase the impact on the communities we serve.

  • We curate our events to create safe and inclusive spaces for all to feel welcome while bridging the gaps around the creative culture.

Recently, “The Living Room” has proven to be one of the better catalysts for this movement with the highest impact on both inclusivity and the creative industry. Shout out to Aprtment Life in the UK for the inspiration to bring a similar experience to our hometown.

  • We strive to promote a culture of resource sharing to set industry level standards amongst creatives in our area. This includes extending opportunities and cultivating a community of creative industry pros, while increasing visibility of the talent coming from VA.

  • The world is taking notice, and Social Supply’s goals can be applied to other places through partnerships with organizations aligned with the mission to amplify inclusivity and creative voices.

THE CREW

Inclusivity and creativity are not just buzzwords we throw around in the trending world of DE&I. We are a group of individuals from different ethnic backgrounds who have also experienced the exact concerns we’re trying to address, by utilizing our dynamic range of resources from our collective passions in the creative industry.
