The History of HipHop and the Evolution of DJing

Last week, DJ Disko Dave, member of the Better Beat Bureau and Kuya Tribe from Virginia Beach, VA taught the lost art of tangible music (record sleeves), different scratch techniques, beat juggling & mixing along with the birthing foundation of the beginning and rise of hiphop, paying homage to:

Thanks to Johnny Breaker, who has been known to bring the beautiful history of music to the local youth through his after school HipHop Social Club for students.  This club has had a number of inspirational local guests such as Guerilla Will with his beat machine and hometown legend, Chad Hugo with his Saxophone.

With efforts like this being brought to the community, we are nourishing young souls to build a deeper, everlasting connection to ultimately bring music to life and feel more meaningful.  Educating and involving the next generation to cherish the culture and aspire to do great things for a beneficial future.
